ASHWAUBENON – You may be thinking, “What took so long?”
Someone finally had the good sense to toast Wisconsin's cocktail of choice and the beloved supper club with an event entirely dedicated to it.
The first-ever Northeast Wisconsin Old Fashioned Fest will mix it up — brandy or whiskey, sweet or sour — from 6 to 9 p.m. April 20 at the Resch Expo.
For a $75 ticket, guests will be able to sample traditional and alternative versions of the drink from local establishments and vote for their favorite in each category. The evening also includes light food and music on the Nicolet Bank Upper Level.
Tickets go on sale at 11am on Friday ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. Participation is limited to 300 people.
The participating companies are:
- 1919 Kitchen & Tap
- Chives Restaurant
- Copper State Brewing Co.
- Copperstill Bourbon Bar
- Iron Duck Restaurant
- Legacy Hotel
- Press the lost key
- The OC
- Rupps Downtown
- Tavern in the sky
