For the fourth year in a row, iconic Fenway Park will host commencement exercises for Northeastern University's Boston campus.
Both graduates and undergraduates from the class of 2024 will have ceremonies on Sunday, May 5.
The graduation ceremony will take place at the Fenway exit at 10 a.m., with the undergraduate ceremony to follow at 4 p.m.
Commencements will also be held for Northeastern's global network of campuses, law school, Ph.D. graduates and College of Professional Studies, in addition to festivities from each of the university's seven colleges.
The full schedule of these events is below.
Fenway Park, located a short distance from Northeastern's Boston campus, has been a popular venue for graduate students and their families. Each year, nearly 50,000 students, families and friends attend the commencement exercises.
The 2024 commencement will celebrate the graduating class and Northeastern's 125th anniversary.
“As we celebrate the 125th birthday of our thriving university, how fitting to do so at iconic Fenway Park, itself only a few years younger than Northeastern!” says David Madigan, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Northeastern. “It promises to be a wonderful and joyous occasion, rain or shine!”
Eligible graduating students should look for the “Graduate Application” application link in their Northeastern email in late October. More details as they become available can be found at start.northeast.edu.
