EAST STROUDSBURG — Stroud Township welcomed manufacturer All Weather Insulated Panels to the community in February in an expansion that will bring at least 70 full-time jobs to the area.
On Feb. 12, Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation staff met with Stroud Township officials to celebrate the arrival of the insulated metal panel manufacturer at 1276 Crowe Road in East Stroudsburg.
“Stroud Township welcomes All Weather Insulated Panels to our community,” said President/Assistant Township Clerk Christine A. Wilkins. “We are proud to be the chosen home for this economic opportunity to expand growth and job growth in our borough. It is a pleasure to work with PMEDC to help facilitate business development in the Pocono Mountains.”
In a mission to increase their production capabilities to serve customers in the northeastern United States, All Weather Insulated Panels is committed to investing at least $24 million in the project, which will help create at least 70 jobs over the next three years.
“All Weather Insulated Panels is very excited to have chosen Pennsylvania as the location for our third US manufacturing facility,” said All Weather Insulated Panels President Natalia Rizzatti. “This location provides us with a strategic geographic location that will support our ambitious growth plans.”
Rizzatti added that the new continuous metal insulation production line with “unparalleled processes and services” will continue to provide the products and customer experiences that All Weather Insulated Panels is known for.
Members of the Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation — Monroe County's certified economic development agency that “strives to facilitate improved quality of life, increased wealth and job-quality employment opportunities through planned economic development activities” — were excited to see the All Weather Insulated Panels in the area, noting that they will continue to work closely with the company as it operates in East Stroudsburg.
“We appreciate the cooperation and assistance we received from Penn's Northeast, our regional economic development marketing organization and the Governor's Task Force,” said PMEDC Executive Director Chuck Leonard. “Stroud Township has also been very helpful and welcoming to the company and that has helped the process go very smoothly.”
Founded in California in 2006, All Weather Insulated Panels is a leading manufacturer of insulated metal panels used in energy efficient building construction projects across the country.
The expansion to Monroe was first announced by Gov. Tom Wolf in September when he welcomed the business to the state and county.
“The investments made in business expansion and job creation by the company and the commonwealth will impact both the local community and the local economy, and we look forward to continued investment in the years to come,” said Wolf.
