International Affairs is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare undergraduate students with the academic knowledge, intercultural awareness, and skills needed to thrive and lead in global society while promoting global citizenship, social responsibility, and human security.
International Affairs at Northeastern University challenges students to engage across intellectual and geographic boundaries while also asking them to think and act 'local' through academic courses, experiential opportunities and language proficiency focused on a specific region of the world. Thus, through breadth and depth, our students are well placed to be the next generation of global leaders – within NGOs, governments, international organisations, businesses and classrooms – finding meaningful ways to solve problems and address the challenges of today and tomorrow.
