About the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group
Northeastern was one of the first universities to establish a formal entrepreneurship program, dating back to 1958. Today, the D'Amore-McKim Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group (E&I) is at the forefront of academic research, curriculum and experiential learning not only in entrepreneurship, but also in corporate innovation. Award-winning scholars and recognized industry leaders come together to form the backbone of E&I's commitment to conducting effective research and teaching, mentoring and coaching the next generations of innovators and entrepreneurs.
Research conducted by our faculty includes organizational strategies for responding to technology-based transformations, digital platforms and crowdsourcing, innovation through acquisitions and alliances, new product development processes, entrepreneurship, business development management, family business, new business models and dynamic competition. The E&I faculty publishes in leading scholarly journals as well as leading practitioner-oriented publications.

Both minor and major concentrations are available. At the graduate level, E&I offers two concentrations in the MBA program: entrepreneurship and corporate innovation.
