Salem gets all the glory with fall festivities in Massachusetts, but Boston it makes for less crowded fall weekend getaways, when many leave the city in search of solitude in more rural areas. Plus, in addition to being extremely walkable, Boston is one of America's oldest cities. overflowing with haunting mysteries and historical charm. As the leaves turn, visitors can stroll through Boston's many gardens, such as the Boston Common and the Public Garden, to admire the brilliant shades of red and gold. I am living at W Boston, located directly across from these parks. This central location puts you in a prime spot to explore other Boston neighborhoods like the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, or take a quick stroll to “the T” combined with a short walk to the West End, North End and Waterfront.
