A brand new city update has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator. City Update 9: Northeast United States brings us updated cities in the region.
City Update 9: The Northeastern United States boosts four key locations: the Washington, DC area; Buffalo, New York; Allentown, Pennsylvania; and the East End of Long Island, New York.
In addition to improved map data, new airports and other features that make for a more realistic experience, this city update will include the first accurate model of Washington in flight simulation, built using the latest photogrammetry technology.
Following up on this release, there will be various celebrations taking place over the 4th of July weekend, including fly-in events and in-sim fireworks that will light up the US skies in cities across the country.
City Update 9: Northeastern United States is now available for free download via the in-sim Marketplace for PC and Xbox.
