Northeastern's full-time MBA program is a 60-credit program that can be completed in 24 months of full-time study. In addition to building a strong business knowledge base, students gain hands-on experience by participating in a six-month corporate residency, specializing in a career path, and completing a business plan project for a corporate partner.
In the first year, students take MBA courses and participate in a career management course that helps prepare for a corporate residency. Students fulfill a globalization requirement during the first year through the school's International Field Study program, an overseas experience.
From June to December, students can participate in a six-month, paid corporate residency at a leading company. After returning from the corporate residence, students then focus their academic work on one of three chosen career paths: Finance, Marketing or Operations and Supply Chain Management. The second-year curriculum also includes a Business Plan Project where student teams deliver business plans for Northeastern's corporate partners.
