TERROR IN THE FOX
What: Terror on the Fox is a haunted event featuring a ride on an antique passenger train, video screens and computer-controlled sound, lighting and animatronics.
When: 7-10 p.m. October 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28-30. 7-11 p.m. September 28-29, October 5-6 and October 31. 7-11:30 p.m. October 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27. 7-11 p.m. November 2-3 (blackout). Children's days are noon-4 p.m. October 7 and 28

DEATH CHAMBER
What: Two indoor haunted houses, an outdoor overgrown path and four burial simulators
When: 7-11:30 p.m. September 28-29, October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20. 7-10 p.m. October 21 and 25. 7-11:30 p.m. Oct. 26-27 7-10 p.m. October 28? and 7-11:30 p.m. November 3-4 (blackout nights).

What: Haunted house with four attractions, with live music by local musicians

Haunted Stone
What: Strange and terrifying Victorian-era practices and possible sightings of long-dead residents
When: 6-9 p.m. 5, 12, 19 and 26 October. One-hour continuous presentations.

PUMPKIN SCREEN
What: Rades Family Pumpkin Display
When: 5-9 p.m. October 5, 6 and 7

CREPY CRAWLIES EVENT
What: Live birds of prey, music by Randy Peterson, wagon rides and a guided wetland tour. The Haunted Trail will be open. Children 5 and under can walk the non-scary Little Spooks trail.

Where: Heckrodt Wetland Refuge, Menasha

What: Haunted walking path in the forest

KOLOKLAS CARVING EVENT
What: Pumpkin carving and decorating event. Bring your own pumpkins and carving tools.
When: 4-8 p.m. October 10
Where: NEW Zoo, Suamico (in the Pines Reserve)
More: Registration is required, but walk-ins will also be accepted the evening of the event. Ship anytime during event hours.

NEENAH'S MOST Haunted
What: Youth Go's annual haunted house is hosted by the nonprofit. Proceeds benefit Youth Go services for youth in grades 5-12. Recommended for guests 10 years and older.
When: 6-9:30 p.m. October 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27

Permission: $10, $5 for students with ID

ZOO BOO
What: Giant inflatables, walkways with lanterns leading to stations. DJ music and haunted revelers.

Permission: $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Children 2 and under are free. Advance tickets are available at North Shore Banks or online at newzoo.org.

INTIMIDATION OF EVIL GRAND
What: Family-friendly, spooky backyard trail that collects non-perishable food donations for the St. Joseph

BOOFEST AT THE FARMERS' MARKET
What: Halloween games and activities, trick-or-treating and crafts
When: 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 20 at Neenah Farmers Market in Shattuck Park, 10 a.m. to noon in downtown venues

ZOOLOWEEN BOO
What: Trick-or-treat stations, inflatables, concessions, games, crafts, prizes, mascots and more

PUMPKIN WALK
What: Walk the Cottonwood Trail filled with lanterns, bonfires, Halloween treats and hear Halloween stories.

HALLOWEEN SPLASH BASH
What: Children's swimming party with spooky Halloween music, games and trick-or-treat bag. Not a costume party.

SHOPKO SWEET STREET
What: Safe and supervised activities and activities for children. Entertainment tent, kid-friendly interactive activities, inflatables and more.

YMCA FREAKY 5K RUN/WALK
What: The YMCA of the Fox Cities will host the Freaky 5K Run/Walk and the Mini Monster Dash fun run for kids. Prizes awarded for 5K, costume contest, feather contest, dog friendly. Children's games, inflatables and music.
When: Children's run at 8 am. Oct. 27, 5K starts at 8:30am.
Where: Pierce Park, 1035 W. Prospect Ave., Appleton
Permission: Register at www.raceentry.com or at any Fox Cities YMCA by noon on October 25th. Race day registration will be available 6:30-8:15am. under the main pavilion at Pierce Park.
