Members from across the health system gathered in Westport, Conn. on August 3, for the official opening of The Digestive Health Center. Staffed by a team of digestive specialists from Yale Medicine and Northeast Medical Group, the new center provides one-stop coordinated care for medical and surgical patients, including bariatric, colon and hernia surgery. While most surgeries will take place at Bridgeport Hospital or Park Avenue Medical Center in Trumbull, patients will have the convenience of attending pre- and post-surgery appointments in Westport. read more
