The Northeast Maglev is a proposed high-speed rail project that would connect many of the largest cities in America's Northeast Corridor. Powered by Superconducting Maglev (SCMAGLEV) technology, which is a magnetic levitation transport system that uses magnetic attractions and repulsions between the track and the cars to propel itself forward at high speeds, this would be on a par with bullet-train systems which are already used in many countries around the world.
