Skanska rehabilitates and modernizes rail tunnels in northeastern United States for USD 637 million, approximately SEK 6.7 billion

STOCKHOLM, July 12, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Skanska signed a contract with a passenger rail customer in Northeastern United States value 637 million USDabout SEK 6.7 billionwhich will be included in US order bookings for the second quarter of 2024.

The project consists of the rehabilitation and modernization of railway tunnels.

Work will begin in 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2027.
